SMS Text Messaging

ezVote allows your voters to signup to receive ballot links by SMS Text messaging. This allows them to vote directly from their phone, not depending on email or paper ballots.

Personal Text Links and Multi-Factor Authentication

Our system will send a personal text link (PTL) to every voter that signs up for SMS text service.

And for those voters that need that extra confidence in their security, they can also signup for Multi-Factor Authentication.

Signup Methods

We offer several different signup methods:

The easiest and most secure method of signup is the Personal Signup Link. This is an email sent directly to each member with a link to take them directly to *their* signup form.

Alternatively, voters can signup by texting a your association's private code to our SMS number. Your association would be responsible for disseminating your code.

Lastly, we offer a website that you may access with a computer, laptop or tablet, to allow your voters to signup in person.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

In addition to signing up for ballot links via txt message, voters may also signup for MFA, where they will receive a confirmation code to their cell phone if they attempt to vote online.

This service is also available to account managers to keep ballot access safe & secure.

Audience Favorite

Using the SMS text system, you can have voters signup at an on-site event, and then vote (via text link) on their favorite contestant/performer at the end of an event. The ezVote system prevents people from voting if they are not on-site to signup!

Single YES/NO voting via Text

For a simple YES/NO question, you can have SMS voters respond with a 'yes' or 'no' directly in a text chat, eliminating the need to follow a link back to the website to vote.
